PT Muncul Mekar ("Muncul Mekar"), a subsidiary of PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk ("Sido Muncul"), has signed Agreement on Appointment of Sub Distributor ("Agreement") with PT Atri Distribusindo ("ATRI"), a subsidiary of the modern outlet group Alfamart, on Thursday, 4 April 2024. The Agreement was signed because Muncul Mekar and ATRI shared a common vision of becoming business partners. The Agreement was signed by Mr. Sigit Hartojo Hadi Santoso, the Director of Muncul Mekar, and Mr. Leonardi Suryajaya, the Director of ATRI.
Muncul Mekar will enjoy wider distribution reach from the partnership, given ATRI’s position as a nationwide distribution company. On the other hand, ATRI and the Alfamart Group is expected to higher turnover and improve service levels from the collaboration. Sido Muncul herbal products are well known throughout Indonesia and have been exported to countries such as Nigeria, the Philippines, Malaysia, and other ASEAN countries.
Sido Muncul will continue to expand its distribution, secure partnerships with other modern outlet groups, export to more countries, and grow its e-commerce presence.
