PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk. was established in 1940 and is engaged in the manufacture of jamu, food, and cosmetics products. In our processes, we use the latest production equipment and have adopted the following standards:

  1. Good Manufacturing Practices for Traditional Medicines (CPOTB/GMP)
  2. ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
  3. ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems
  4. ISO 22000:2009 Food Safety Management Systems
  5. Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
  6. Halal Assurance System (SJH)

The CPOTB is a set of guidelines for the traditional medicine industry in jamu manufacturing issued by the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM). We received the CPOTB certification from the BPOM in 2000. We have the certification to manufacture traditional medicines in the following dosage forms:

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international standard-setting body composed of representatives from various national standards organizations. Our ISO certifications were granted by PT URS Services (United Registrar of Systems) Indonesia.

We have adopted the following ISO systems:

  1. ISO 9001: 2015
    The systems in this standard regulate product quality to meet customer expectations as well as applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Sido Muncul received the ISO 9001 Certification in 2016
  2. ISO 14001: 2015
    The systems in the standard regulate the management of waste (solid, liquid, and hazardous) produced by a company’s activities to meet applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Sido Muncul received the ISO 14001 Certification in 2016
  3. ISO 22000: 2009
    The systems in the standard regulate product management to meet with applicable quality requirements to ensure its safety. Sido Muncul received the ISO 22000 Certification in 2016. In the same year, we were also awarded the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).

HACCP emphasises on analysing risks of contamination (physical, chemical, and biological) that may be present during the production process, from raw materials delivery to shipment of finished goods.

The Halal Assurance System is a system issued by the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI). The system awards halal assurance for companies in the manufacturing industry as well as for goods produced by the industry.
