This was the 30th anniversary of Sido Muncul's free homecoming programme. Sido Muncul is proud to organise this event for jamu vendors in Greater Area. Since 1991, Sido Muncul has carried 360,400 travellers to their hometowns.

In this edition of the free homecoming programme, Sido Muncul provided 189 air-conditioned buses to help 12,000 people to travel back to their hometowns. The departure ceremony was held on Thursday, 30 May 2019 at Purna Bhakti Pertiwi Museum in the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta

DThe ceremony was led by the Director General of Land Transportation Budi Setiyadi; Director General of Industrial Relations Development and Employee Social Security Haiyani Rumondang; Director of Registration and Identification of the Indonesian Police Traffic Corps Police Brigadier General Halim Pragara, SH, MH; Jakarta Timur Mayor M. Anwar; the Hatta Family; Sido Muncul Director Irwan Hidayat, and Sido Muncul Directors. The travellers’ destinations in this edition were Cirebon, Kuningan, Tegal, Banjarnegara, Solo, Wonogiri, Yogyakarta, and Gunung Kidul.

In the 29th edition of the free homecoming programme, Sido Muncul booked 220 buses to help 13,000 people to travel back to their hometowns. The departure ceremony was held on Saturday, 9 June 2018 at Purna Bhakti Pertiwi Museum in the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta.

The departure ceremony was led by the Director of Land Transportation Infrastructure Ir. Jujun Endah Wahjuningrum, MT; Director General of Waste and Hazardous Materials Management Rosa Vivian Ratnawati, SH., M.Sc; Deputy Head for Oversight of Traditional Medicine, Health Supplements, and Cosmetics Dra. RR. Maya Gustina Andarini, Apt., M.Sc; Jakarta Timur Mayor Drs. Bambang Musyarawdana, M.Si; Director of Road Traffic of the Metropolitan Police Chief Inspector Karliman; Honorary Army General A. M. Hendropriyono; the Hatta Family; Sido Muncul Director Irwan Hidayat, and Sido Muncul Directors.

This year’s edition of the Sido Muncul Homecoming was different, since the buses used this year were fully air-conditioned to improve comfort during the trip. The travellers’ destinations in this edition were Cirebon, Kuningan, Tegal, Banjarnegara, Solo, Wonogiri, Yogyakarta, and Gunung Kidul.

Sido Muncul also launched a new product variant, Kuku Bima Energi plus Vitamin C: a combination of energy drink and vitamin C to help boost the immune system.

Sido Muncul held the 28th edition of the free homecoming programme for jamu vendors in Greater Jakarta on Saturday, 17 June 2017. In this edition, Sido Muncul provided 260 buses for 15,000 travellers.

Djarot Saiful Hidayat, M.S; Director of Transportation and Intermodal Freight Cucu Mulyana; Head of Traffic Corps Police Inspector General Drs. Royke Lumowa, M.M; Head of National Agency of Food and Drug Control Dr. Ir. Penny K. Lukito, MCP; Deputy Head for Oversight of Traditional Medicine, Cosmetics, and Pharmaceutical Substitutes Drs. Ondri Dwi Sampurno, M.Si., Apt; Jakarta Timur Mayor Drs. Bambang Musyarawdana, M.Si; Family of the Proclamator Bung Hatta; Sido Muncul Commissioner Jonatha Sofjan Hidajat; and Sido Muncul Director Irwan Hidayat.

PFor this edition of the free homecoming programme, the Metropolitan Police named Sido Muncul an AKSEL Mudik Organiser. The award was handed by the Head of Metropolitan Police Traffic Corps Police Inspector General Drs. Royke Lumowa, M.M.

On Friday, 1 July 2016, Sido Muncul held the 27th edition of the free homecoming programme for jamu vendors in Greater Jakarta. A total of 270 buses were prepared to help 16,000 jamu vendors travel back to their hometowns. Some 186 buses departed from the Purna Bhakti Pertiwi Museum and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in Jakarta. The remainder departed from Sukabumi, Bandung, Tangerang, Cilegon, Serang, Cikampek, Bogor, and Cibinong.

In Jakarta, the departure ceremony was led by the Minister of Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya Bakar; Director General of Land Transportation Pudji Hartanto; Deputy for National Tourism Marketing Esthy Reko Astuty; Assistant Deputy Governor for Transportation Sunari M. Sinaga; Director of Road Traffic of the Metropolitan Police Chief Commissioner Syamsul Bahri; Madam Desy Sulistio, the second generation of Sido Muncul’s founders; Sido Muncul President Commissioner Sofjan Hidayat; and Sido Muncul Director Irwan Hidayat.

In the 27th edition of the free homecoming event, Sido Muncul campaigned on the importance of conservation to support the Ministry of Environment’s paid plastic bag policy launched this year. Sido Muncul also made public service advertisements on sorting rubbish for recycling that featured the Tolak Linu product. Sido Muncul also attached stickers on sorting plastic for recycling on the buses.

In the 26th edition of the free homecoming event, Sido Muncul helped 20,000 people to travel back to their hometowns. A total of 320 buses were provided at a departure ceremony held at the Jakarta Fair’s West Parking on Sunday, 12 July 2015.

This year’s edition of the Sido Muncul Homecoming was different: the departure ceremony was opened by the launch of Sido Muncul’s latest products: Tolak Linu and Tolak Angin Care. The symbolic launch was marked by a button press and unfurling of the products’ banners.

The departure ceremony was led by the Minister of Transportation Ignasius Jonan; Minister of Health Nila Moeloek; Minister of Labour and Transmigration Muhammad Hanif Dhakiri; Chairman of the National Agency of Food and Drug Control Roy Alexander Sparringa; Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Djarot; Chief of Metropolitan Police Inspector General Tito Karnavian; and Sido Muncul Director Irwan Hidayat.
